Our
Board is in the process of making changes to the
Rules concerning the way continuing education
seminars are approved. Instead of approving each
individual seminar, providers will apply for and
be approved for a year at a time.
Applications for continuing education providers
will be accepted until December 31,
2010. The Board will review the
applications at their regularly scheduled Board
meeting in January and providers will be issued
one provider number instead of the individual
seminar numbers currently being issued.
Approved providers may host continuing
education seminars from
February 1, 2011 to January 31, 2012.
Approval is only good for one year and providers
must re-apply each year. If an application is
not received by the December 31, 2010 deadline,
that provider will have to wait until the next
year to apply again. The new application is
available on our website.
